My Journey to WEARWOLF Shoes
For most of my life, I thought my foot pain was something I just had to live with. Born with collapsed arches, I wore arch-supporting orthotics and night braces throughout my childhood. Despite all the interventions, my podiatrist told me as a teenager, "Your arches are as good as they’re going to get," and sent me on my way.
Years later, I found myself in the fitness world — competing in physique shows and eventually becoming a personal trainer. But something still wasn’t right. My toes were pinching together, my hip pain became unbearable, and my feet never felt truly comfortable.
That’s when I started to realize: it wasn’t my feet that were the problem — it was my shoes.
The Barefoot Shoe Discovery That Changed Everything
After years of wearing flat but narrow lifting shoes, I learned that the shoes you wear every day reshape your feet. I made a simple change and bought my first pair of barefoot shoes.
What happened next was life-changing.
- My hip pain melted away.
- My feet felt stronger.
- I felt grounded in a way I never had before.
I almost forgot I was wearing them! But when I tried going back to my regular sneakers, the pain in my arches returned within hours. That was it. I ditched all my old shoes and went all-in on barefoot footwear.
So Why Create WEARWOLF?
I started recommending barefoot shoes to my clients, friends, and anyone who would listen. People started calling me the "unpaid ambassador" of every barefoot brand out there.
But two things always bugged me about those shoes:
- They were expensive.
- They were ugly.
Why were most barefoot shoes either hideous or designed with weird, over-the-top features? Why couldn’t they look cool and be affordable?
I knew there had to be a better way.

After two years of learning, testing, and designing, I finally created a shoe that checks all the boxes:

- Stylish enough to wear every day
- Affordable for everyone
WEARWOLF was born out of a simple mission:
We are here to help people reclaim their natural footing with barefoot shoes that feel great, look cool, and don’t break the bank.
I’m not reinventing the wheel. I’m just removing the biggest obstacles that keep people from experiencing the benefits of barefoot shoes: cost and aesthetics.
